セキュリティの甘いサービスについて、今ひとつ理解していなかったため、ちゃんと調べてみる。

基本的には、使用しないサーバは無効にしておけばいいのだが、サービスの説明だけでは理解するのが難しい。

とりあえず、以下のサービスは無効にしておくべき。

  • Messenger
  • NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing
  • Remote Registry Service
  • Telnet

また、ダイアルアップ接続を使用していなければ、以下も無効にする。

  • Internet Connection Sharing
  • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
  • Remote Access Connection Manager
  • Telephony

使わないハード用のサービスも無効にする。

  • FAX Service
  • Infrared Monitor Service
  • iPod Service
  • Portable Media Serial Number Service
  • Uninterruptible Power Supply

ここはお好みで無効に。

  • Task Scheduler
  • Utility Manager
